This a a side view of an APWS tank. Obviously it is on the Lake Pearl. That is something of a misnomer in that it is actually the cover of the tank. The tank itself is a stainless steel tank inside the cover. Some heavyweight Pullmans that were converted to work train service had the cover removed. Some cars I have found have even had the tank removed! This part is available from B.T.S. You can see their version here.
